Bank Quay Bulls 28 Bold Miners 10.
BANK Quay kept up the pressure at the top of the Mark Norris Building Services North West Counties Amateur Rugby League Premier Division with victory against Bold Miners.
Bulls, who travel to face championship rivals Pilkingtons on Saturday at 2.30pm, took the lead against Bold when Carl Turner supplied Luke Worsley, with Anthony Braide converting.
Bold responded with an unconverted try but Bulls led 14-4 at half time after the in-form Craig Millington finished off a fine move and Braide added two goals.
Ste Fisher then sent Ryan Mullen away for another try at the start of the second half and Bank Quay sealed victory when Fisher forced his way over from close range.
Bold hit back with a consolation try but Bulls completed the scoring when Dale Catterall crossed.
