Lymm 14 Vale of Lune 7.
A LYMM side buoyed by former player David Strettle's call-up for England dominated against much-improved Vale of Lune in rugby union's North Two West on Saturday.
Second-placed Lymm went 14-0 ahead in the first half.
Skipper Adam Fletcher raced in, with Nick Shaw converting, and Lymm were eventually rewarded again after 30 minutes when Nick Girdleston dived over the line.
Vale scored an excellent try in the final seconds of the first half before a scoreless second period.
