TOMMY Horan settled the battle of the giants in the latest round of Grappenhall Darts League fixtures, with more games to come tonight, Monday.
Joint leaders Bulls Head and GYCA fought to 4-4 before Horan's 21 throws clinched a win for the Grappenhall side.
Red Lion were the surprise team of the night, beating Golden Lion in another tight affair.
Red Lion took a 4-2 lead but Golden Lion fought back to 4-4 before Graham Dutton won the last game in 20 darts.
GTLA defeated GTLB 5-4 with Jim Smith winning the last game.
ESM lost 6-3 to Fleece and Star defeated Rams Head 7-2 with the best performance coming from Mark Atkinson, 14.
Stockton Heath Legion took a 4-0 lead against Ye Olde No3 but No3 fought back to win 5-4.
