WARRINGTON Sports Personality of 2004 Chris Carter was unable to help his Wakefield Gym Club teammates to victory on prime time television on Saturday.
The Padgate tumbler was part of the club's 8 Storey team that competed on the BBC 1 talent show When Will I Be Famous? at the weekend.
The Wakefield octet, who were competing for a £10,000 prize to help them in their quest to join Cirque du Soleil, defeated a contortionist in the opening round vote but were unable to make it past the semi finals of Saturday's show.

He performed on Saturday as part of the men's four routine, with a mixed pair and pair from the club also in action.
