WARRINGTON Wolves Ben Harrison continues to impress on loan with Widnes Vikings.
The Cumbrian played at prop in Vikings' 60-10 defeat of London Skolars in the Northern Rail Cup at the Halton Stadium on Sunday (see pictures below).
Harrison has been on loan with Vikings, along with Andy Bracek, since the start of the season.
Harrison is physically advanced for his age. Harrison, who turned 19 on Saturday, is an intelligent forward with fine ball handling skills for his size.
He was scouted by Wolves assistant coach Gary Chambers while playing for Barrow Island and has a fine junior representative career.
He played for Cumbria from U12 to U16, Lancashire at U17 and U18 level and featured in England sides from U15 to U17s, captaining England Schools at U16 and facing the Australian Institute of Sport at the end of 2005.
Harrison completed his A level studies a year early in order to train full time with the first team in the second half of 2005 and was awarded a place in the first team squad for 2006 but has yet to make his Super League debut.
He performed strongly for England Academy in the series against Australian Schoolboys at the end of last season.
