LYMM rugby union star David Strettle scored a try on an encouraging debut for England on Saturday.
The 23-year-old former Lymm RFC and Warrington RUFC winger made his first appearance for England in their 43-13 Six Nations defeat to Ireland at the weekend.
Dublin's Croke Park was an intimidating setting for his debut but Strettle, who is a former Lymm High School pupil and now plays for Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership, was one of few England players to shine and used his electric pace to score in the corner early in the second half.
