THE Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford on Saturday has sold out.
The final, which kicks off at 2.30pm and is live on BBC One and Premier Sports, features the holders New Zealand and pre-tournament favourites Australia.
As a sell-out fixture, The Rugby League World Cup Final will become the best attended international Rugby League match of all time and both New Zealand and Australia will play in front of one of their biggest ever crowds.
RLWC2013 Tournament Director Nigel Wood said: “The Rugby League World Cup Final on Saturday will be the crowning glory of what has been an incredible tournament. There have been huge crowds, massive TV audiences and some superb Rugby League.
“After the figures we have seen for this tournament it is no surprise that the greatest prize in Rugby League will be awarded in front of a crowd that will break so many records.
“Both New Zealand and Australia have been superb throughout this tournament and neither will give an inch in the final. Everything points to a fantastic day and one which this amazing RLWC2013 richly deserves.”
