HOLD on to your seats because Samoa will play Fiji in Sunday's World Cup quarter final at Warrington Wolves' Halliwell Jones Stadium, while England will face France in Wigan on Saturday night.
The last two quarter finals were settled tonight when Samoa defeated France 22-6 in front of a record Stade Gilbert Brutus 11,576 crowd in Perpignan.
The final group game, played on the windy Med, was an absolute bruiser - one of the games of the tournament!
Of course, the stakes were high with both sides fancying their chances of a quarter-final victory over Fiji probably higher than against England and therefore finishing second in Group B was crucial.
Four incidents were placed on report in a match that simmered away and often threatened to boil over, while new St Helens recruit Mose Masoe spent 10 minutes in the sin bin for persistent team offending.
There will be some anxious players waiting for judiciary adjudictions in the lead up to the weekend's action.
Shot after shot came firing in, particularly from the Samoans in a first half that ended 6-6.
Matt Parish's men then proved to be too powerful in the second half, with skipper Sia Soliola of St Helens and full back Anthony Milford particularly impressing.
Tries came from Daniel Vidot (4mins), Anthony Milford (46), Peter Godinet (61) and Junior Moors (74).
Australia (against USA), New Zealand (against Scotland) and England (against France) are all firm favourites t reach the semi finals at Wembley on November 23, but the battle of the islands between Saoa and Fiji should be a belter and too tough to call.
For Samoa, who have been hosted in Warrington for the tournament, it will be like a homecoming after the way The Halliwell Jones Stadium supporters rose to their fightback against New Zealand on the opening weekend of the tournament.
But Fiji, led by 37-year-old former Australia Test prop Petero Civoniceva, held England to 6-6 until half time at the weekend and showed that, just like Samoa, they are physical, explosive and contain no shortage of skill.
The fireworks will be lit in Warrington at 3pm on Sunday, and at 8pm in Wigan on Saturday.
