I've always been puzzled at this obsession which people have to possess the latest gadget.
It seems that whenever there is a new 'toy' out, adults revert back to children.
They get upset because they haven't got whatever it is and behave as though their very existence is dependent upon them having it.
It's worrying.
I would even go so far as to say that some people seem to place their entire self worth on materialistic items.
I think people need to reassess their lives from time to time and decide what really matters like appreciating what you have and the people around you. I think people could be happier if they didn't pursue the latest 'toy' but pursued some life goals instead.
Gadgets come and go; what's new today is soon old tomorrow.
Memories, achievements and people are the best things to invest in. They tend to stick around for longer.
