Locals receiving training on how to drive an ambulance in Nigeria
A DONATION by Warrington Rotary Club has been made to a charity that helps improve medical transport in Africa.
The money was given to resident Clare Bottle, who plans to cycle 500km through Madagascar to raise cash for Trainsaid.
Founded by Save the Children, it helps people in countries such as Nigeria, Zambia and Tanzania get access to basic health services.
Previous funding has been spent on setting up a distribution network for vaccines and training drivers for ambulances.
