A TOWN centre business is contributing towards a 5,000 prize which will give one lucky couple the wedding of a lifetime.

Zoe Wood, owner of Opulent Designer Decorations, based on Wilson Patten Street, is providing wedding decorating up to the value of £1,000.

Zoe said: “This is a great prize. I’ve heard of win-a-wedding competitions before, but when I heard about this one, I didn’t waste any time in getting involved.”

Tracey Thomas, of wedding website GatheredHere.co.uk is behind the recession-busting plan.

She said: “We know from brides-to-be that a dream wedding is becoming more and more just that – a dream.

“So I decided to approach one of our many wedding suppliers to see if we could make the dream a reality and offers are coming in every day.”

Shortlisted couples will be invited to a Cheshire reception on February 14, Valentine’s Day, where the winning couple will be announced.
