IT seems that Andy Murray can do no wrong these days.
And with the Henman years behind us, it seems British tennis might have taken a turn for the better.
Murray gave us a taste of what he is capable of beating Wimbledon champion and undisputed king of tennis Roger Federer. Murray matched Federer shot for shot until finally the young Scot triumphed.
There were a couple of teenage tantrums along the way, however these were overshadowed by the glimpses of excellence we saw.
Is Henman's support from British tennis fans over?
Murray seems to be winning favour with the British fans just as quickly as Henman is losing it.
Maybe in a few years, the clichd cries of Come on Tim' will have been forgotten and shrill cries of Come on Andy' will be the words being shouted from Henman Hill.
It seems that tennis fans all over England see Murray as an honorary Englishman (much to the distaste of the Scottish) and have slowly begun to forget our ageing star.
So with so much resting on the shoulders of this 19-year-old, let's hope that Murray really does live up to the expectations.
