Conifer fire
FIRE crews were called to a conifer tree blaze on St Katherine’s Way, Howley, at 9.40pm on Thursday outside the children’s home.
Residents living nearby were concerned it ‘could have been much worse’ with houses and cars close to the flames.
A reader sent in this picture of fire crews at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by Cheshire Fire.
