A MAJOR £8.5 million building at Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus (SIC) has now been completed.
Vanguard House is a new office and laboratory space focused on science and technology in the new Local Enterprise Zone.
The building, originally funded and built by the Northwest Development Agency, is wrapped in aluminium cladding that adapts its colour depending on daylight levels.
John Downes, chairman of Daresbury SIC and managing director at joint venture partner Langtree, said: “The campus exists to support the growth of high-tech companies through innovation and collaboration and Vanguard House will further strengthen our position at the forefront of the regional and national knowledge community.”
