YOUNGSTERS have been enjoying a world of fun at a play scheme running at the Fairfield Neighbourhood Project this week.
Events continue today and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
Children aged from five to 11 can enjoy fun activities such as games, circus skills and art.
Barbara Nicholls, community development officer at Warrington Housing Association, has helped set up the play scheme.
She said: “Initiatives like this are really valued.
“Many families worry about childcare over the long summer holidays and traditional childcare can be very costly.
“But play schemes like this can give peace of mind, knowing their children are in safe hands, enjoying themselves and making friends.”
Funded by Warrington Housing Association and run by Warrington Borough Council, the scheme is operating each afternoon between 2pm and 4pm.
There is a 50p charge per child for each session.
