TOILET facilities at the new bus station came in for praise from a campaigning charity.
Mencap inspected the disabled facilities and found they were almost perfect.
The charity wants toilets where people with disabilities can be changed.
Gaynor Roe, profound and multiple learning disability co-ordinator for the north west, said it was absolutely fantastic' to see it had a hoist and a changing bench, as well as the usual space and other facilities that disabled people may need.
However, she said the toilets were not perfect. Ideally, Mencap would also like to the toilet to have a bin and to have someone at the station trained in how to use the facilities.
