TACKLING the poor eating habits of some children has long been considered a weighty issue but for one Warrington youngster it's bigger than most.
Shanice Nickle, aged 12, was asked to don a fat suit and prosthetics for filming in Jamie Oliver's latest TV campaign to improve standards.
The superstar chef is set to return to our screens next month to find out whether children are now happily tucking into their school dinners following his huge campaign last year.
The Longford youngster won a place on the show after several auditions but mum, Amanda, says it was hard work for her: "She was in make up for nine and a half hours and they made her a size 20-24. She is shown walking down a road with an ice cream," she said.
"I think she found it quite difficult walking in it and sitting down but I think she really enjoyed it."
