Last week I applied for a work placement scheme in Berlin. I never expected to get an interview.
I got an email a couple of days afterwards saying I had an interview.
I was shocked.
I've accepted the invitation to interview but I wonder is the job going to suit me. Can I afford to leave my part-time yet stable income to work somewhere for 10 weeks and then come back to England with no job?
I really would love the chance to practise my German again and gain some experience in a sector that interests me more than the one I'm currently in.
Maybe I'm counting chickens before they are hatched. I may not even be successful at interview.
Let's wait and see..
