A FAMILY holiday was wrecked when they returned home to find their dog had vanished.
Mia, a five-month-old Rottweiler went missing last Wednesday from Hale Street, Orford where she was being looking after while her owner Jana Thompson was away.
Police confirmed that the dog has been registered missing.
But Mrs Thompson believed her pedigree pet was stolen.
"My friend who was looking after Mia had popped out to the shop, but when she came back, the back gate had been kicked in and she was gone.
"We are all really upset and just want her back safe."
The dog is black and tan with a distinctive bald spot above its left eye and a white star mark on its chest.
Anyone with information should call Mrs Thompson on 0779 9770811.
