FIREFIGHTERS have been getting involved with crime safety awareness days at William Beamont and Lysander High School.
The crew from Warrington fire station’s blue watch showed pupils the consequences of car crashes with powerful video clips and a scene acted out for the class.
John Turner, from blue watch, said: “The pupils were a credit to both themselves and their schools.
“Everyone who watched the presentation both pupils, and staff alike, left with a new outlook on the consequences of the smaller actions that we take and where that can lead.”
The days, run by the Prison Me No Way Trust, help students understand the causes, consequences and penalties of crime.
