WARRINGTON Wolves paid tribute to the Armed forces on Friday night.
Members of the Mercian Regiment collected money on the day while Warrington Pipe Band also performed as the Wolves took on Castleford Tigers at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Wolves were a specially created kit for the game, proceeds from which went to Help for Heroes with almost £4,000 collected so far.
And the regiment’s mascot, a ram, led the teams onto the pitch - in fact he enjoyed the occasion so much, that he proved difficult to remove!
