Councillor John Joyce, the Mayor of Warrington, celebrates with staff
THE Mayor of Warrington has opened a new Travelodge hotel at Gemini Retail Park which was completed three weeks ahead of schedule.
Clr John Joyce visited the 71-room hotel, which represents a £2.7 million investment by the hotel firm, and has created 15 new jobs within the community.
Employees were recruited via the Job Centre Plus Scheme, which helps the long term unemployed back into work.
As part of their induction staff underwent a four-week training programme.
