EVER wanted to have a go at designing a submarine?
That was one of the tasks enjoyed by five Lysander High School students who took part in a science and engineering course at the University of Liverpool.
The event focused on science and engineering. Other tasks included designing an off-road vehicle and a cargo boat.
Around 100 students from the north west took part in the course.
Young engineers from the Royal Navy and Jaguar Land Rover were on hand to give guidance.
It was organised by Lysander High staff, the Smallpiece Trust and Aimhigher Cheshire and Warrington.
