ST ELPHINS bowler Margaret Williams came out on top in the 26th Margaret Galvin over 60s competition played at Orford Park.
Williams defeated St Oswalds' Jean Bibby 21-17 in a final that was nip and tuck all the way.
The defeated semi finalists were Betty Ince, of Monk Sports, and Pat Bate, of Grange.
