Clr Mike Biggin
GRAPPENHALL and Thelwall councillor Mike Biggin is set to take over as Mayor of Warrington.
Clr Ted Finnegan was due to take on the role at the annual council meeting on May 23.
But his defeat on Thursday left the position vacant.
After a round of meetings, it has now been confirmed Clr Biggin has been chosen to take on the role.
He takes over from Labour's John Joyce.
