THE town’s young Conservatives have got behind a scheme to enourage volunteering in Warrington.
Warrington Conservative Future says there are more than 200 opportunities for young people in the borough to give their time with Do-It volunterring.
Jonathan Levy, WCF chairman said: “Volunteering is more important now than ever before and young people can gain so much from it, new friends, new skills and most importantly, contacts who can often prove so invaluable in getting that first job.
“There are a huge range of volunteering options in Warrington, some that require a few hours commitment per week, fun projects over the holidays, one-off placements and longer-term volunteering opportunities so there is something for everyone.”
