THE borough council does not have enough evidence of speeding on Canons Road in Great Sankey to impose clamping measures, a public meeting heard.
Clr Liz Smith said she had been told this by borough council officers while touring the area, after residents requested a crossing near the junction with Thurston Close, at the last Great Sankey South Community Action Meeting.
