A PENSIONER was subjected to a street robbery late on Tuesday afternoon.
Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the attack on the man in his 70s outside James Lee House on Brick Street.
It is alleged that a man and woman blocked his way before the attack which left him with facial injuries that required hospital treatment. The offenders took property from him before they walked away. Police say a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s have been arrested in relation to the incident and have been released on police bail.
