HIGHWAYS bosses have taken swift action to remove travellers camping underneath the Thelwall Viaduct.
The group moved on to the site last Monday causing a flood of complaints from residents.
And, after preliminary work from Warrington Borough Council, it was discovered that the land was owned by The Highways Agency.
It sent officers to remove the camp on Thursday.
