This week my mum was told she would no longer receive sick pay despite having a sick note from the doctor for another couple of months.
Now, I don't know the ins and outs of everything but what strikes me is this: What is the point of having a sick note if the people at whatever office decide to ignore it?
They are effectively saying “we don't care about your opinion and the fact that you have trained for years to become a doctor because we know best”. Unbelievable!
