A WARRINGTON woman who gave up her profession as a dental nurse to pursue her dream of singing is showcasing her talents this month.
Paula Godby, who used to be a dental nurse in Padgate and Stockton Heath, entered a busking competition last year and has since been given lots of attention from the public and has even had record company interest.
Miss Godby taught herself to sing at the age of 15 and learned to play the guitar at 17-years-old.
The 26-year-old is spending every Friday lunchtime from 11.30am-2pm this month singing in Warrington town centre along with a different accompanying singer each week.
The Orford woman also performs at an open mic night at the Postern Gate pub every Tuesday from 9 pm.
