I can't believe we're so far into February already. The year seems to be flying.
Although being in February does mean that going to Brussels is getting closer! It really has just crept up on me.
Unfortunately I haven't had chance to do much daydreaming about it as I usually would do as I've been busy.
My masters course has started again and I've been quite excited about the work for one of the modules – it's poetry translation. I've been writing some of my own poems too.
I haven't written anything else in my book though; I can already see me not finishing it by 31st December.
One of the things I wanted to talk about in this blog now that I'm back at university is how much I rely on the trains to get me to and from there.
On Thursday, they disappointed me. Two carriages pulled up at Oxford Road station at 17:41 and that was not enough by far.
There must have been twenty-thirty people left standing on the station (me included) who had been unable to board the train.
I don't believe this is the first time this has happened (I don't usually get the train at this time) and if that is the case, as there is demand for the service, why don't they supply a long enough train?
You just can't help but wonder why.
Speaking about shortcomings, I have a friend who had to arrive late to a funeral because of an insufficient service.
