CHILDREN from Green Lane Special School were given a special treat when they were presented with trophies for their sporting success.
Six members of Longford Homewatch activity club coached them in football, tennis and other recreational games.
The project has been so successful that the Homewatch team have become permanent mentors and friends for the children from Green Lane.
