SHE is a master of physics - and aims to be a doctor of philosophy.
Karen Syres from Broad Oak Avenue in Penketh has just earned a first class masters degree in physics from the University of Manchester.
The 22-year-old will continue her studies with a PhD in photon physics, which will earn her a philosophy doctorate.
