A FORUM to promote cycling is soon to be set up by Warrington Borough Council.
The forum will review and comment on cycling issues and members will include ordinary residents, council officers, councillors, businesspeople and representatives from Warrington Cycle Campaign.
"The forum will provide an opportunity for people to discuss with cycle officers the design of schemes and cycle-friendly infrastructure, and future transport policy," said Lesley McAllister, the borough council's travel plan advisor.
The forum was one of the commitments in the council's 2001 to 2006 Local Transport Plan.
