IT will be a nervous couple of weeks for the town's A-level and GCSE students.

Because the clock is ticking until they find out the results of their hard work during the past few years.

College students will pick up their A-level results this Thursday while GCSE students will find out their fate on Thursday, August 24.

Expectations will be high in Warrington.

The town's youngsters have consistently scored some of the top exam results in the country in recent years and will be expected to do so again.

Meanwhile, while the GCSE results will be placed live on the website from Thursday, August 24, and the results and coverage will then be printed in the Warrington Guardian on Thursday, August 31.
