SELF-styled beatbox king Killa Kela is one of the stars on show at Daresbury's Creamfields festival.

Here he talks about his hopes for the August extravaganza.

Question: Which acts are you most looking forward to seeing perform?

Killa: "Prodigy of course, man! Their live show is legendary! And I haven't seen them play for so longgonna be sick!"

Question: What's your favourite festival memory?

Killa: "You know, I never went to any festivals until I started performing at them. I was 19 when I first performed at Glastonbury, so I guess that's my favourite memory. It was unbelievable."

Question: Best thing about festivals?

Killa: "One: Seeing all your favourite bands at once, man. Two: The crowd. It's the only place you'll find the strangest of people standing next to each other in one place."

Question: Worst thing about festivals?

Killa: "Toilets, toilets and, of course, the toilets."

Question: If you could become a festival promoter for the day, which artists either past or present would be in your dream-line-up?

Killa: "Ok; Hendrix, Zeps, GnR (original line up), Iggy and the Stooges, Foos, Prodigy, Gnarls Barkley, Prince, Chaka Khan, Blondie, Busta Rhymes and Beastie Boys.

"Weird I know, but I'm sure it would work."

Question: So, do you have a contingency plan if the rain decides to drop by?

Killa: "Yeah, go back stage, man. Hit the rider."

Question: What makes Creamfields stand out from the rest of the festivals this summer?

Killa: "Well, I've done Creamfields a couple of times in the past and the best thing about the festival compared to others is always the Liverpool/northern crowd. INCREDIBLE crowd. Incredible people who are always up for a good time. This year though, it's got to be said that the line up for Creamfields is ridiculous, man. There's a crazy amount of big acts performing. And it just goes to show that Creamfields' reputation has grown to be endorsed by some of the biggest names in music. It's wicked."

Question: Do you have any plans to play new material at Creamfields or is that under wraps until showtime begins?

Killa: "Loads and loads of new material will be coming out the bag peeps! New tracks, new beatbox routines, new Spitkingdom showcases."
