A CLEAN up campaign to rid the town of unwanted graffiti is underway and council officials want to hear from you about any problem areas.
The three-month blitz was launched last week and residents and businesses have already been calling the council and the Warrington Guardian with the areas they would like to see cleaned up.
A specially appointed team will be out and about in the borough over the coming weeks with a graffiti blitz machine to tackle the problem areas.
Current council policy is that resources are used to clean up graffiti on council-maintained land and public places but while the blitz is taking place the team will also clean graffiti from private property and land.
Grot spots identified so far include trees in Lady Woods, Westbrook, Hawleys Lane in Dallam and Brookland Street in Bruche.
To report any areas, contact the council's customer care line on 443000, or us on 434110 or e-mail newsdesk@guardiangrp.co.uk
