IF you are young and after something to do this summer then why not head down to the Peace Centre?
Warrington youth club is running a summer scheme of activities for young people aged eight and upwards.
There are lots of different outings and events to choose from, all based on the idea of having simple, traditional fun.
From trips to the seaside, to picnics in the park and sports days, there will also be a big event at the Peace Centre on Sunday, August 20, that will include art activities, dancing, games, cooking and a street-style party!
Some of the activities are specifically for young people with disabilities.
Supported by Warrington Borough Council, 21st Century Kids, Cheshire Crimebeat, and the Community Lifeline Fund, all the activities are completely free.
The scheme has already been running a few weeks, but lasts until August 25. Remaining places are limited so call Janis on 581227 for a timetable and to sign up.
