THE Community Action Party is yet to decide whether to nominate a candidate for the upcoming Poulton North by-election.
The Wigan-based party has until today, August 10, to submit any nomination for the election which was called after the death of Albert Clemow earlier in the summer.
Party leader, Mike Hughes, said on Tuesday that no decision had been taken yet.
The Labour Party, the Conservatives and the Lib Dems have all announced their intention to contest the seat.
Polling stations will be open on election day, Thursday, September 7, between 7am and 10pm.
The deadline for applications to vote by post is Tuesday, August 22, the deadline for vote by proxy is Wednesday, August 30.
