Phoenix Fire Boxing Club

Phoenix offers people from all types of backgrounds the opportunity to develop at their gym.

The ethos is to develop and nurture people, improving their life skills, confidence and health. The gym boasts one world champion in the World Firefighter Games, four medallists in England internationals, 25 international club medal winners, four national champions, 10 national finalists and 56 regional champions.

Its achievements include becoming a Beacon Club for Cheshire, achieving clubmark status and being the most successful ABAE club in Cheshire for elite participation.

Crosfields Junior Football Club

Crosfields is celebrating a hugely impressive season both on and off the pitch. The open age first team gaining promotion to their first season was the highlight on the pitch, but Crosfields judges success more by the development of the players.

Working in partnership with parents and local schools the club has again been awarded FA Charter Standard Development Club status and has recently been awarded a £5,000 grant by the Football Foundation in recognition of its commitment to starting new teams and encouraging young footballers.
