NICK Clegg made his first public appearance following the TV Leaders debate at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The national media and party supporters crowded around the Liberal Democrat battle bus painted in yellow livery as it pulled into the stadium car park this morning for the party's leader's visit.
It is the second time in just over two weeks that Nick Clegg has made an appearance in the borough to back Warrington South Lib Dem candidate Jo Crotty.
Mr Clegg spoke to party activists telling them: "Warrington is like many parts in the country, particularly the north that have been let down by Labour.
"I say to the people of Warrington, where the Lib Dems are the only real challenge to Labour,do not let Labour let you down for the fourth time."
