A complete back rower with a highly professional attitude, Noone has been marked out as a future leader from the early years of his career, having captained every side he has played for except the Wolves first team. Strong in defence in the middle of the field and with a terrific work rate and good hands, he is well-suited to the loose forward role but has dug Warrington out of plenty of injury crises by covering stand off or centres. Joined the club aged just 14 from Widnes Tigers and led the Wolves Academy team to the U19 Grand Final in 1999, the same season he led Great Britain Young Lions against the Australian Schoolboys. Disrupted by injuries in the first half of 2005 but will challenge strongly for the first choice number 13 berth in 2006. A useful back-up goal kicker.
