STUDENTS from Wade Deacon High School exceeded all expectations with their GCSE results last week.
Those pupils getting five or more GCSE passes at A* to C reached 77 per cent with 100 per cent of pupils achieving one or more grades at A* to G.
Success was also seen amongst the Year 10 students who had taken some GCSEs a year early. Of those entered for English Literature 68 per cent
achieved A* to C grades.
Head teacher Pamela Wright said: "To see the happy, smiling faces of our pupils makes their hard work and that of all our staff so worthwhile."
