THESE bikers paid a fleeting visit to a Widnes firm as part of their charity whistle-stop tour of the UK.
The group set themselves a target of visiting each of the 26 Selwood hire company branches throughout the country in only four days.
First stop on the third day of the journey was the Widnes branch, where they have been doing their bit to help raise money for Cancer Research UK and Riders For Health with raffles and selling T-shirts. The group are planning to raise £60,000 from their mammoth 2,500-mile bike ride.
Riders For Health is a charity that provides motorbike ambulances for Africa and the money raised from the bike ride will help to fund two new ambulance bikes.
Mark Bebbington, manager of Selwood Widnes, said: "All the staff have really supported the campaign and they've been working hard to raise funds for the Selwood Challenge."
