SOUTH Cheshire College's nursery has welcomed its first baby customer after getting the thumbs up from Ofsted inspectors.
The Starting Point nursery, which has been re-registered by Ofsted, now caters for youngsters aged up to five years old
Mum Vicky Yoxall is a nursery officer at the centre and is delighted with the new service, which means she can combine work with looking after her first child.
She said: "It's the perfect situation really because I work at the nursery and it is so convenient for me and Olivia.
"Olivia is my first child so it's great that I won't miss out on seeing her during the daytime when I'm at work."
Starting Point Manager Sam Hart added: "We are delighted to welcome Olivia to the nursery and hope that she is the first of many to come through the door.
"Previously we found that many toddlers were registered with other nurseries way before the age of two but hopefully now babies will join us from birth and stay with us until they reach five.
"This adds another string to our bow and babies will thrive in a superb environment."
