Nursery cook Karen Bailey, aged 38, will be joining five male friends for a parachute jump at Whitchurch on September 2.
The group will be holding a Dutch auction and raffle to help raise money for the jump and for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, at the Swan and Cheques pub in Sandbach on Saturday.
Karen said: "We're all really excited about the jump, but we want to raise as much money as possible for the charity. We chose this organisation because a local boy died from the disease a couple of years ago."
