A FOOTPATH will be closed temporarily while roadworks take place.
The path, which crosses the A557 Watkinson Way, at Earle Road, Widnes, will be shut from Monday, August 28 and the roadworks are expected to take around four months to complete.
Cyclists and pedestrians will not be allowed to use the path but a suitably signed alternative route along the northern side of the junction will be available.
