A MAN charged with attempting to murder his wife has been given a date for his next appearance at court.
Anthony Green, aged 47, has been accused of attempting to murder Marietta Green at their home in Wavertree Avenue, Widnes, on Sunday, July 30.
The taxi driver, who remains in custody, has yet to enter a formal plea to the court.
He is next due to appear at Warrington Crown Court on Monday, October 23.
