THE Nantwich Transport Festival rolled into town last weekend with a wide array of vintage and modern vehicle displays in tow.
The fourth annual festival was held at the Barony Park to entertain and encourage shoppers at the traditional market.
The two-day event attracted hundreds of entries including classic Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, foreign vintage models and motorbikes.
Comedy look-a-likes Haurel and Lardy also made a guest appearance providing some family entertainment.
Nantwich Forum spokesman Joyce Vernon said: "We hold this event to provide a free community weekend for the people of the area but we plan to change it to a one day event next year."
Nantwich market traders have been busy scheduling several events over the summer with more in the pipeline to boost business in the local markets.
The borough council's spokesman for local environment John Hammond said: "This is just one of many trader events to tempt people into our friendly market."
